Created by Utildata, TSE Reset is a free utility programme that allows you to get a new temporary TS CAL license in case it has been wrongly allocated. Indeed, when you connect a new PC to a 2003 or 2008 Terminal Server, you have to buy a TS CAL license at your Microsoft retailer within 90 days. After the 90-day deadline, your PC could not log on any more to a Terminal Server. If you forget to order your licenses or if those licenses are not delivered yet, TSE Reset will allow you to get a new temporary license valid for 90 days. TSe Reset needs an access to the registry of your client PC. TSE Reset modifies 2 keys allowing you to get a new 90-day TS CAL license. So you should restart your client PC. When executing TSE Reset, the TSE Reset icon appears during 30 seconds before disappearing. When it disappears, the registry is cleaned. N.B.: TSE Reset must be run on the client computer and not on the server. WARNING: This utility programme cant prevent you from keeping your licences in order. It has to be considered as a temporary mean to get you out of difficult situations!
